CalSTAT California services for technical assistance and training

California Program Improvement Sites

CalSTAT has reserved Technical Assistance days especially for Program Improvement Sites identified under Title I, No Child Left Behind (NCLB). These sites will have access to content experts and consultants identified in the core message areas listed below:

  • Reading
  • Positive Behavioral Supports
  • Collaboration
  • Family Partnerships
  • Transition
  • Individuals with Disabilities Education Act 1997 (IDEA '97)
  • Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)

CalSTAT will reimburse Program Improvements sites at the rate of $400 per day. These funds should be used to offset the cost of a presenter or trainer, and are not intended to cover other meeting costs such as meeting space, copying and printing, or food.
