Welcome to Classroom Management Online Training

This online classroom management program was designed to supplement Classroom Management: A California Resource Guide, which was published in 2000. This program is designed to assist elementary teachers address behavior problems in an effective manner. The classroom strategies presented in this program were selected from among those that have empirical evidence of effectiveness. The purpose of this condensed program is to describe student management programs that work effectively to prevent the future occurrence of antisocial behavior and resolve minor behavioral problems in the classroom.

Emphasis is on teaching students how to behave rather than how not to behave, in order to develop a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
