What is the Community Network and How to Use this Space
The CalSTAT Leadership Community utilizes this virtual environment to network among community members and public visitors to this site. This Community Network Space is where member site teams share learning, develop skills, and plan for action. Enter the space to view the Virtual Community Calendar for information sharing opportunities, learn about online networking and using Web 2.0 tools on the Resources page, and listen to downloaded recordings of live Teleclass speakers, and site teams presenting on their collaborative work.

Teams
Presently the community has 30 participating site teams. Use this feature to look for a site team you would like to learn more about. Each team has a profile and link to webpages that describes their award winning work.
Member Directory
Available to logged in users. If you want to reach a particular person? Log-in with your team username and password so you can search by name using this tool.
TA Plans
Each participating team creates a Technical Assistance Plan reflecting what professional development the site will deliver and also what they plan to receive. Check out the various TA Plans to learn how others are increasing their professional competency or may be offering training you can participate in.
Local Event Calendar
This is where community members list trainings, conferences, and other learning activities across the State of California. Check it out to see what may be happening in your local area that you can take advantage of.
Virtual Community Calendar
The Community Network Space will host a variety of conversations and information sharing experiences utilizing internet-based technology. The Virtual Community Calendar will tell you who, when, where, and how to access these networking and learning opportunities.
Teleclass
Once each quarter we will host a big name speaker from the field of education. For a current list of speaker dates check out the Virtual Community Calendar. The Teleclass link will take you to the telephone access number and web-support instructions for scheduled Teleclass presentations. You can also access audio recordings of the presentations in this location. In addition, each month a community member site team will be invited to use the Teleclass feature to deliver a presentation on their work.
Roundtable Forum
Once each month a community member site team will present on their award winning collaborative work utilizing the virtual roundtable feature. This link takes you to an area where an asynchronous forum will be located in which users can post questions to the host site team and learn about their work for a 36 hour period of time. The site team will also post documents and other support materials as a way to share information.
