A New Wave of Evidence: The Impact of School, Family, and Community Connections on Student Achievement.“ This publication from SEDL (Southwest Educational Development Laboratory) is a compilation of 51 research studies since 1995 which examine parent and community involvement and its role in impacting student achievement. Each study is described and analyzed including the limitations of the study. Findings are briefly described and recommendations for implementing the findings are put forward.
