Atascadero High School (AHS) is located in the small city of Atascadero located in the Central Coast of California. There are approximately 1,520 students enrolled of which approximately 118 are special education students. We have 93% parent/guardian representation and 65% student representation at IEP meetings. We have an English learner population of about 4%. During the last school year, we had about 245 office discipline referrals and 104 suspensions for a total 319 days suspended. Additionally, 7 students were expelled. API Growth scores were as follows: 2008=761; 2009=794; and 2010=799.
