Strategies: East Mesa School

Instructional strategies include active standards based teaching using state approved curricula. Holt Literature, High Point, and Prentice Hall are some of the textbooks. Every classroom has Dell computers, internet access, Smartboards, and computer projection systems. Co-teaching is a research based service delivery model which has been implemented after training in the area of in-class collaboration by general and special educators. Educators and authors, like Drs. Jacque Thousand and Richard Villa, have provided support through their trainings and publications.
