Marine View Middle School is a suburban school serving a diverse student population:   28% Socioeconomically disadvantaged, 20% English Learners, 1 Special Day Class and 2 Resource classes.

Located in western Orange County, minutes from the scenic California coastline, Marine View educates 930 sixth through eighth grade students.   Marine View Middle School was recognized as a California Distinguished School in 1996, 2000, and 2004 and a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2001.   Our mission is to provide all students a high quality, standards-based educational program in a safe, nurturing environment – Success for All .   Our focus is on high levels of academic achievement for all students while supporting the social and emotional developmental needs of each child.

Personal connections provide opportunities for individuals to become involved through respect of self and others.   Staff is committed to making our school A Great Place to Learn for all students by connecting and engaging students to the educational process through personal connections with students.   There is a shared commitment to take advantage of our rich diversity and to provide equal opportunities to all members of the student population.
