The team reviews the progress of the collaborative model at Sequoia Middle, makes recommendations for further staff development, makes changes to address the needs of the school within the collaborative model, and evaluates the effectiveness of the program. Since the collaborative classes are within the Math and English Science and some social studies departments; each department chair works closely with the Special Ed chair and the administration, as needed. All teachers on the team are part of the collaborative classes. Our parent has a student in special ed and provides the parent perspective.
