The outcomes and expectations for the institute:
- Institute work is part of a systemic effort to improve student outcomes and close the achievement gap by integrating systems of support at the school, district and regional levels.
- Institute connections support the notion that the Institute is part of a process, not an event, with the learning community encouraged and supported to stay connected over time.
- Conversations, in different participant groups, are threaded throughout the process and understood as central to learning.
- Leadership capacity and responsibility for the work of the district is built within all participating groups.
- Learning strands are interconnected, and need to be implemented simultaneously in an integrated fashion.
