Responsibilities of the Team:
Maribel Caparas and Gail Angus are responsible for logistics of the Regional Institute including registration information. Sue Balt is our liaison with PENT and will provide input in the area of behavior support planning and the needs of Non-Public Schools. Lorie Lacey-Payne from Riverside County Mental Health will be providing us with information regarding behavior intervention strategies and the prospective of the needs of a parent. Kira Shearer from Riverside County Office of Education will assist with creating an Institute that meets the needs of Program Improvement Districts. The team members from the local districts and school sites will provide the prospective of the principal’s needs to create a system change. The local University partner will provide support and information in the area of Response to Instruction and research-based strategies for closing the achievement gap.
