ERIA Evaluation
Overview and Instructions 2009-10
All evaluation materials are posted at http://www.calstat.org/effectivereading.html.
These are the same materials which you have used in the past, with the exceptions
noted below:
Please complete these three data collection items each fall and
spring:
- Site Action Plan (SAP)
Change: Abbreviated SAP for Implementing
Sites: After the at least one year of fully implementing ERIA, sites may
be eligible to complete the abbreviated Site Action Plan (item 1B, attached),
instead of a full‐length Site Action Plan. Consult your regional or district
coordinator if interested in this option.
- Team Implementation Checklist
(TIC)
Continue to use the Excel file that your site has been using. If you
need help locating a copy of your site’s TIC, contact eria.support@calstat.org.
- Oral Reading Fluency Measures for struggling students
Use either the
form on the CalSTAT website or your own spreadsheet, as is most convenient
(ensuring that the required data elements are included).
Other changes from
previous years:
- CalSTAT is no longer collecting data from the San Diego
Quick. You may continue using this assessment if it is part of your site’s
ongoing practices.
- CalSTAT is no longer collecting data in the ERIA Trending
Program. You may continue using this tool if it is part of your site’s ongoing
practices. CalSTAT will collect CST results from districts or CDE as needed
